I just wanted to right a quick note to update everyone on my latest adventure. Early tomorrow morning, I will be heading to Marshall County, Alabama to take part in CAP's disaster relief efforts there. Myself, Kate, and three other people from my house will be making the seven hour drive to Guntersville, Alabama where we will help with recovery and relief efforts in areas that were devastated by the April 27th tornadoes.
We will be staying at Camp Ney-A-Ti which was thankfully not affected by the storms and has electricity and running water - practically a resort. Kate and I are only able to stay until the morning of the 11th as I have to catch a flight out of West Virginia on Thursday morning. I'm sure I will have many stories and pictures to share with you all in a few weeks, but until then please keep myself, the other volunteers, and the survivors in your prayers. And if you feel so led, you can make a donation to CAP to support relief efforts.
