The Upside of a Flat Tire

Bad News: Today Kate and I got a flat tire on our truck.

Good News: Today I was able to cross #97 off the list - learn how to change the tire on a car.

Assessing the Situation
This morning on the way to work, I noticed the truck was driving a little funny almost as if it was extra windy out and it was being pushed back and forth on the road. I mentioned it to Kate and after some investigation (aka turning down the jams and listening to the truck) we determined that nothing was wrong and maybe it was just a windy morning. Lo and behold, we were completely wrong because as we turned into the office we noticed our extremely flat rear tire. Luckily, it wasn't flat enough to cause any damage to the rim and I was able to get the tire changed with some helpful tips from Tony and Bryan, our manager.

Although it was not the best way to start out my post WorkFest CAP experience, I am excited to finally be able to cross another item off the list.

Way too many still left to go...

  3. Boys, we were trying to get the spare tire out from underneath the truck and it was a little stuck hence the reason we had to climb underneath it. Don't worry next time you get a flat you can give me a call and I'll walk you through it. :)
